- When we get into the Task Manager program, we will see an option named “More Details” on the left-bottom of the window.
- We have to click on it to open the next window.

- Press the Windows+R to activate the Run command.
- Place the cursor on the textbox, type “wmic”, and click the OK button or press the enter key.
- Write the command “CPU get numberOfLogicalProcessors” and press the enter key to get the result.
Use of command prompt:
Another way of getting the number of CPU threads is the use of Command Prompt. Let’s go through the steps of this method.
- First, we have to press Windows+x or just click on the start button.
- We will find the Command Prompt (Admin) option in that window.
- In case we don’t find the Command Prompt option in the window, we can go to the search bar and type CMD.
- We will find the Command Prompt there.
- We will just open it and type the command to know CPU threads.
- The command would be “WMIC CPU GET DeviceID, NumberofLogicalProcessors”.
- Finally, by pressing the enter key, we will get our result.
3 Using third-party software

Activating the Intel® Processor identification utility:
We can use the Intel® Processor Identification Utility software to know all the information about the processor. To this software, we have to download this software on our device.
